Figure about 3000 pounds on the weight of the boat and trailer alone. Add for equipment. Usually, the Hunter built trailers were decent. Suggest trading out the bearings for Timpken and add buddy bearings if you do not have them. IF you do not have brakes, you can add the brakes to that axle which most will tell you no but heck, I did it for several boats of mine. Also, check the guides ons for structural integrity and the brakes if it has it. Crazy dAve condon
