I just bought a 1972 sabre 27, but I cannot find any specifications about the boat. Is there anyone that can help me find out more about this boat? Thanks

Hi Mark,You've got a good boat. A classic. First off, it's a 28'5" to be exact. Your model was from the beginning of the production run. I was unaware that Sabre made anything under 28 ft, but you might check with some of the owner's associations listed at the Sabre website in the post below.

I didn't know there is a Sabre 27. I have a Sabre 28.Anyway, you can contact the Sabre factory in Maine and ask to speak with Glen(Chapman?). He is kind of the liaison for owners of out of production models. Ask him to send you a copy of the owner's manual, which you have to pay for. He sent me the manual for the Sabre 28.The Sabre web site is www.sabreyachts.com.Good luck!

Mark, There were Sabre 27s. But these are a different Sabre Company. I beliave that they were made in England. Check out their group on Yahoo groups:http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sabreyachts This is a forum for Sabre 27 owners. They might be helpful.
