Finally, after 18 months of ups and downs, sleepless nights, one unexpected problem after another, countless hours online with forums and mail order retailers, a small fortune in stainless screws, nuts and bolts, new tools, old tools, too many tools, noodling and working out solutions to the problems, learning new techniques and generally enjoying the whole process she's in the water. Whew.
Thanks to all on this forum for the advice and repartee.
Especially Maine Sail for the "tips for a great buff wax". The wet sanding and polishing results gained me some yard cred.

Now for a good nights sleep.

Great looking boat--makes me almost look forward to my next haulout. I'll probably retrace your steps and give a try at wet sanding mine to make it look pretty again.

PS- If that's a tan coloring to your deck gripping, it really stands out and looks great!
