I bought a pair of Lewmar 30STs which I want to mount on the coamings where they are accessible from the helm position to help make my O'Day 32 CC, and I need to find some canted winch pads so I can have the angle to keep the line from overrunning and jamming on the drum. AFI used to make canted pads 6 3/8" in diameter. I don't know how much they are canted, and don't seem to be available anywhere as AFI has stopped making them. Does anyone know of a source for pads of this type? Thanks.

I DID look here first!
But they have only ONE of the one I COULD use (7 1/2"), and NONE of the 6 3/8" that I would prefer. It seems AFI no longer carries them, and will not have them as they are discontinued, so on to other sources. Thanks for the tip about H&L Woodworking. I can get them through Pyacht.com.

Hey Phil, which Battle Wagon is in the Pic. Looks like the IOWA class New Jersey?? Fair Winds and Full Sails...
If you are going to add pads, have you considered poly board (no maintenance)?

Check out DownWindMarine.com in San Diego. They seem to have the best prices and have canted pads.
