If you do not have the dimensions there are several online sources. I like Sailrite, then "Sail Kit Pricing". Type Hunter and '27' and you will see main and jib dimensions.
i just checked on line with sailnet and AIRFORCE sails NEW for your boat are approx $1800 for a main and 130 genoa total thats not bad considering my main cost more than that for my 37C
The Doyle sails on this site would cost a little over $2,000, depending on whether your 27 is a Cherubini era or a Legend era boat, whether you want a 100% jib or a 110% furling genoa, etc. However, if you want to keep the price down at rock bottom and aren't too picky about what you get, used sails will be the cheapest route.
Bacon. They are local to you. I think they will be open Saturday mornings in the spring. You can go there and see the sail before buying and I think they will let you return within 30(?) days if it doesn't fit your boat. You don't want to buy a large sail and have it cut to fit, the sailmakers charges will add up to the cost for a new sail. No shipping costs since you can pick it up. Also, check prices with Skelley Sails in Havre de Grace. I got a new, dacron 155% roller furling genoa from them last spring for $1200. Also, take into consideration the performance difference between new and used. Good luck.
...out of Florida are a great resource for used sails. I found a fully battened mainsail for my 37C a couple of years ago for about $375. They have new sails as well.
