I have been seriously neglecting my sailing so far this year. Had a trip scheduled to help bring a boat across the gulf that fell through a few weeks ago. Now another shot. Going over tomorrow and help a friend bring his boat to Slidell. Then, Thurs. morning, headed out for Pensacola. Not a longish trip, but will be an overnighter, and that beats hell outta sitting home.

Gotta' agree with that last statement. But at least you are in the water. I'll be in before Memorial Day but without a mast. Still be nice to sleep aboard to that motion I miss so much.

Just finished a 10 day trip from Punta Gorda to Marco Island and back. Not a lot of time sailing until we turned round and headed with the wind but just sleeping on the boat was worth every minute of motoring. Combine that with the friends we were traveling with, the impromptu happy hours, the tall tales at dinner and you have the entire reason we love sailing.

I'm in the market as were . Colonial Beach
Did my first over-night trip for the season. It was a short trip and then I spent the night on the hook at Breton Bay. Dove on the boat and scrubbed the bottom. It was bad and the next day I had gained a whole knot of boat speed.

Where you docking in Pensacola? We have a new baseball stadium that has Fireworks on Sat night home games. Tonight will be nice with the super moon but very humid.
