Well the time has come and our beloved '04 H260 BonaFide has sold so we are moving on. This site has been helpful and fun and I also hope that with over 800 posts that others have benefited from my objective experience with these roomy and portable WB trailer boats.

We've met and sailed with many new friends that we would have never known without this site. My best to all who come this way and many thanks to Phil and his team for hosting this site. Be nice to our new owner if he shows up here and share back with others every chance you get.

Aloha, Mike and Kelli

Mike, you invited my First Mate and me to come have drinks with you while we were in Sarasota but we never took you up on the offer. Thanks for the hospitality. Fair winds in whatever you do next!

Thanks so much for the well wishes. We've made many friends through this site that became like family and really have had lifelong impacts for us. Dozens of people we eventually met down our way and beyond were introduced through this site so I'll encourage everyone to take someone up on that offer to have a beer or raftup. You never know where you'll find you next best friend.

Hey Bob our boat was bought by a wonderful couple relatively near you from Yakima Washington. They flew into Sarasota the day before tropical storm Debbie slammed into SW FL. They had to hole up for two days until the wind gusts were under 40mph and couldn't wait to get back to "normal" rain in the NW.

This is hard core......They are trailering 3000mi back home as I write this and will have more trailer miles before their first sail than most guys get in their whole sailing career. Great folks. So if you see my BonaFide flying that goofy peace frog gennaker out your way make sure to say hey.

Don't worry about us we're just the sort of guys that figures life is no trial run so we're trying to get as many good experiences as possible while I'm still running at a good pace. Kelli is aiming us toward a hike of the Camino trail in Spain and maybe some travel elsewhere.

And yeah, the next boat was already bought before we even had BonaFide sold.....go figure:) I guess I'll always be an old sea dawg of some sort with at least one foot in the water...

All our best, M&K
