Scissor jack table

What brand of table is the scissor jack / ironing board table as seen in your pic? BTW - nice job on the floor.

Wow!

That looks really great! I am really interested in your project. My husband and I own a Hunter 40.5 and there were 3 sole boards with old water damage on them (leak that has been fixed). We took them to a local woodworking guy who charged us way too much to sand down the damaged areas and reapply Daly's Profin Gloss. I am not happy with the way they turned out but I guess it is an improvement. I don't know what is left for us to do except to replace the entire sole. What I would like to know is what is they best way to do this? Do you buy a wood veneer and glue it to plywood? Can you buy the veneer and plywood already assembled? Or do I have this completely wrong? Again, congratulations on a fabulous job. Would you be interested in doing mine?:)

Kerry thanks

for taking the time to detail your project. I was pretty sure it wasn't a weekend project. One interesting from taking my boards into the local wood shop. The guy who did the work commented on the teak used on them. He said it was beautiful old growth teak and that he never sees stuff like that anymore. I don't know if that should have any bearing on what I do in the future.

Real teak?

If your floor is made from teak, try to keep it. The teak on the plywood I installed is only about 1/32" thick. The rest is just marine plywood. Why don't you post some pictures of what you have here and let some of the gurus chime in. An alternative, or quote from someone to do the complete job was 3/8" teak on 5/8" marine plywood. It was way over my budget, so I decided to use t & k plywood. It has the look, and is sealed well with epoxy, so it should last as long as I have the boat.
