I have relocated my house battery to under the galley sink, now it is not so easy to hook up my solar charger (connected with alligator clips). Can I hook the positive commection to the post on the battery comnbiner? If I hook my positive to the cable on the combiner and the negative to the battery ground I should be ok. I am concerned about backfeed into the combiner when at anchor, although it seems this happens anyway with the clips hooked straight to the battery post so I don't see a problem with it. Anybody have another approach?
