Solar panels on Hunters - standard?

I was talking to my dealer about what they would need to winterize on a new 426 - he said the batteries wouldn't need to come out as the solar panel would keep them charged? I said "what solar panel?" and he said that he hadn't seen a large hunter without one -now I have only been on the boat two times briefly as I live 1,000 miles from it's storage site, but I don't recall anything like a panel - is he losing his mind or do all hunters of a certain size come with a panel? It isn't listed as an option or as a standard feature, what thinks you all?

Look here...

Ed: Sorry I cannot address your specific model, but look just forward of the companionway hatch, it may be there. If you go to the HOW and look up boat specs and pictures, there is a semi ariel view of a 376 that shows the solar panel at this location (which is identical to mine). I didn't see any other photos that were taken from this perspective, and there were none of the 426. Jeff

Solar for the starting battery

Ed: The larger boats come equipped with a small, flexible panel just forward of the companionway hatch. It is for maintaining the starting battery only. The two house batteries are not so fortunate. John Richard s/v Jack's Place

Not on 426

I have checked and for what ever reason it is not on the new 426 DS - not sure why, but has not been added as standard equipment or as an option. Kind of funny as they added a miriad of things like flat screen TV, but left off the solar panel.
