I just receive a call from the surveyor for the 43 that I intend to buy. He reported that the fiberglass panel into which sits the solar panel has extremely high water content. He suggested that it can be easily removed and either repaired or replaced. Has anyone had any experience with this? Can it be removed? where can I find a replacement? Any idea of costs? He said that this appears to be more cosmetic than structural. The other thing that he mentioned was that there is a check valve in the raw water cooling system that should be mounted vertically but there is no room in the engine compartment to mount it. Any ideas on this problem. Thanks for all the help you all have given to me

Call Hunter

These sound like questions that Hunter could more easily answer. But you have also come to a helpful site. Hunter has a great customer service desk. Check for the phone numbers on www.hunter.com and give them a call. They are truly helpful. Good Luck with your purchase.

Still looking

I have a 97 Hunter 430 I bought new in June of 99. What year are you buying. I considering selling mine because I have used it twice since I bought it. Plans just did not work out. I hate having an unused boat. You'll love the 430. Very fast and roomy. She motors great too.
