solar panel for battery

Does anyone have any advice on solar panels for trickle charging the battery on Catalina 22's? Any sources?rogter@cancun.com.mx

Catalina direct has a great solar panel system but I like west marine's flexiblepanel for $100. Unhook it when sailing and glue a small shelf to the top of the area under the port cockpit seatsaccesable from the cabin. Plug it is when not sailing and leave it in the floor of the cockpit, on the deck, or make velcro tabs and on top of your awning and attach it.

Solar Panel

I've used the approx. 10 watt flexible solar panel sold by West Marine for several years. It was worked out great. On my boats I bolted the panel down just ahead of the mast. This panel has enough power to make up for self-discharge plus light use on weekends, but isn't so powerful that it needs a regulator to avoid cooking off your electrolyte. It also continues to charge under dim light and partial shade.
