I just bought a siemans solar charging kit. The solar cell kit is not flexable. I read up on the different types of cells and the flexable matt type are not as efficient as the solid cells. So I opted fpr the more efficient solid cell unit. It puts out 18 volts in sunlight. And still produces electricity on a cloudy day. I mounted mine on a piece of Starboard and mounted that to the stern rail oposite the boardind ladder. Read up on the different types of solar cells before you buy. There is a big difference in efficiency. Go Solar. Joe
