I love this kind of thing - twenty years ago you could have assembled a cast of Experts telling you that a plane could never fly from Hawaii to California on solar panels alone. Delivered with derision to the guys who dared to dream and build. It is no coincidence that this historic effort was supported by the same guys who gave us Google, fast electric cars with 250 mile range, and the Falcon rocket that lands on a barge in the Atlantic (during a full gale). Good thing they disregarded Conventional Wisdom.
