Similar problem with C22
I purchased a '75 C22 last year and had a major leak at the keel locking pin. After fixing that I discovered that there was still a bad, but not as bad, leak still somewhere. I discovered that the thru hull knotmeter was not sealed properly. The cabin floor in the port side lockers was delaminated. I removed the knotmeter and non working depth meter. I removed part of the inner locker floor and dried every thing out over the winter and spring. I then glassed the hull closed, eliminating both the knot meter and depth meters. Then I used 'tiger hair to build up the floor, cover that with fiberglass cloth for a smooth interior finish. The locker is as dry as death valley now. I still have a leak of rain water, which I suspect is from either the transom mounted stern pulpit or genoa tracks. I am going to follow this with interest to see if any solutions to my problem appear. Good luck with your boat.
