Hi everybody, The head floor in my 260 is very soft and feels like there is water under. Is that normal?. Is a good idea to make a small whole to investigate? Thank you. Roberto.

It's NOT normal

Most likely cause is water getting under the toilet--from showering prob'ly and has rotted the sole (floor) in the head...it's waterlogged. If you or a PO replaced the toilet and didn't fill any unused mounting bolt holes, that would do it. But it can happen even if there aren't any unused holes. Unless you want to step all the way through the floor one of these days soon, you're gonna have to remove all the rotted material and replace the sole.

Wrong boat

Peggy is thinking keel boat. The 260 is water ballast and isn't the thickest in the glass department. The water you are feeling and hearing is the water ballast. There is no sole in the bathroom area and the sole in the cabin area is just for asthetics.

No sole in the head??? Cabin sole only for aesthetics??

A boat's "sole" is the term for the floor in the cabin and cockpit...what you stand and walk on, same as a floor in a house. So how can there be no sole--floor--in the head, or the sole in the cabin be "just for asthetics?" If the the boat has no floor in the cabin or head, what DO you stand on...the bottom of the bilge (assuming that water ballast boats have bilges apart from the ballast tanks?

Still confused...

Dick, There is a "sole" in the head, similar to the sole in the cabin (wood imitation). Is the water ballast just right under?. Thank you.

Same on my boat

I have a 26. At 240# when I walk on the floor in the head, I see movement. The water ballast tank pretty much covers the bottom of the boat so that is what is underneath. If there is a wood laminate floor in the 260 head, I'd bet that only fills a depression and is not structural. I removed and refinished the laminate in my cabin. It is just sitting in a molded depression. If for some reason the PO got it wet frequently you may have to replace it, but you won't fall through.
