Does anyone use snap Davits to secure a hard dinghy to your boat. I have a H310 and am building an eight foot plywood sailing dinghy. My biggest fear of this setup is the dinghy catching water when I heel. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My boat came with them and I've had to go back to just towing my dink. Your heeling fear are well founded. I have re glued my pads on the dinghy 4 times. Once I paid a hyperlon repair guy to do them and they still came off. I could only sail down wind or else the dinghy would drag in the water. I could not figure out anyway to mount them higher on my "sugar scoop" stern. I have returned to towing the dink. YMMV

I reread your post and 8ft might work. My dink is 10.5 ft. RIB

I am also interested in this. Currently have a hard dingy (pictures below), and would like to be able to hang on the transom of my 1983 H31 (picture of transom below)

Have them

Same here and had them on my H-36 and yes some times it would catch
water when healing and so I would have needed to make the system higher
and my dink was 9'6'' and smaller would be better.
I am selling my snap davit system.
