Mystery solved....
I've been trying to get a fuel sender from SR, but haven't gotten any response from them. So when I read Peggy's post, I said 'Aha!', went to the link, found they don't sell the sender, sent them and e-mail, got both an e-mail and a voice-mail from Dennis, which included their preferred source for diesel senders. I went right to the company they suggested (see link below), found the sensor and am soon to be able to cross THAT one off my 'things that Hunter didn't think were important enough to put on a sailboat in '87' list. All that took about 10 minutes - that's what I call modern networking! ;DOh, yeah, when the sender comes, I'll cut an inspection port in the fuel tank and clean out 20 years of crud..... and that will cross off ANOTHER item on that list.I don't think I'll bother to do anything about the lack of an engine hour gauge, though.... after 20 years, it's pretty meaningless.Cheers,Bobs/v X SAIL R 8
