Does anyone know if you put mystery oil in the cylinders before storage how long will it take to burn off the oil when you start it for the season. When I started the engine today (ist for season) at first no smoke then as the engine warmed up it started to smoke is this normal? Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Paul

Hi Paul:Are you referring to a product called "Marvel Mystery Oil"? I put that in my gasoline but not in my oil even though the directions allow for it. I use this product in my car as well, but here again as a gasloine additive and not in the oil. (I use Slick 50 there.) Anyway, I started up my Atomic 4 engine after being in winter storage, and it was a little smokey at first, but nothing major. The smoke was coming out of the exhaust only and no where else. I hope this what you're referring to. After motoring around on a couple of occassions, the exhaust is back to normal - imperceptable. Hope this helps.Melody
