Are all H35 Legends real slow drinkers at the fuel pump? I looked at the fuel filler line which is in the deep starboard locker and noticed that from the deck plate the filler line is looped below the exhaust tube which is lower than the tank top and then it rises back up above the tank and bends into the tank inlet.

I considered why would Hunter have installed like this rather than going above the exhaust hose with a hanger so it wouldn't sag on top of the exhaust or possibly could the previous owner have changed it for some reason. (it looks original)

The vent is in the top area of the walk through transom and appears to be clear of dirt or bugs but who knows how far down the tube they could be.

If anyone has similar problem would appreciate hearing about what you may have done to resolve.

Thanks,
Darryl

me too!

I've had my H35 for 10 of its 20+ years and have the same problem. My solution is to fill slower.

At first I thought your title meant it was frugal when using diesel. Mine is...I think I'm on my second tank since January.

Re: me too!

If the vent is clear you should hear and feel air being vented when fueling. I would check out the vent line.
