When I bought my house it's potential was the main selling feature. The very large, framed attic would become an antenna farm as my other passion is amateur radio. The basement/garage has room for 6 average cars. Two cars are enough. I knew that someday I would return to sailing. My 170 stays very comfortable and dry. The 9' ceiling and 2x10 joist allows for easy DIY projects. Now I can start repairs on the trailer.

Nice to have that kind of space to work with/in. Keeping your 170 out of the elements will go a long way toward keeping the hull in good shape!

I'm starting work on the trailer tomorrow. The hitch coupler with the pin is of the quality expected from Curt. I'll need to enlarge the bolt holes from 3/8 to 1/2.
