Fine tuning the adjustment
What Dick said about adding a mark so that the hose from the drain lines up with the center of the funnel is a good idea. We did that too. Later, I drilled another hole in the bottom of the galley to line up the hose, so that when the galley is slid all the way out and against the cushion on the Stb. side, the hose would line up perfectly with the center of the funnel. There are many things that you can do to improve the galley. I made my sink pump electric. But now that my boys are 16 and 17, they want me to take the galley out of the boat just to have more room. I don't know what we are going to do next. You certainly shouldn't drink the water from the water tank.Another thing that I did is add a 1 loop handle, similar to the ones on the cabin top, to pull it out and push it in. I also added little pieces of teflon under the galley to make it slide easier. Another thing that is helpful is to add a little stick, about 1 inch square by about a foot long on the hatch cover in the starboard compartment, so that when the galley is pushed all the way in, all the STUFF in that compartment is on the aft side of the stick. That way you can push the galley in, without always having to go back to that compartment to clear the way. Aldo
