I have a Ben First 345 and want to remove my sliding companion way covers. How do I go about getting them out. It looks like the end cap come off but I can't quite figure out how to remove the pin. Any help would be appreciatted

Generally taking the nylon end stops allows you to slide the hatch out completely.

What year is your F345. We traded ours in '96 to a dealer on lake St Clair

It is a 1985, picked it up in Lake Norman. The end stops are aluminum with what looks like retaining pins stuck in from the top. Nothing really to get a hold of to get them out.

Mine was an '87 - one of the first built at the then new Marion plant. Checking old pictures mine had a nylon cap over the pin. If your french built 345 is similar, I assume once you remove the cap, using needle nose pliers you can slide it up and out of the hole
