We're ready to finalize the purchase of a Hunter 27, 1984. One question remains.... Is there a comfy way for a 6 ft man to sleep on board? We were thinking of storing a board just a bit smaller than the cushion, under each "bunk" in the galley area. and when it's time to sleep, "span" the boards from one bunk to the other. Does anyone have any suggestions? We're in our second season of sailing...( are selling our 22 ft O'Day) and don't know anyone else who sails or has a sailboat... but we have definately caught the "fever." Thanks for any info.

Big Bunk

My port setee pulls out to make a double bunk thats just right for a large person. Six feet. Think it was added on by the orginial owner who used the boat as a floating cat house.

Don Bodeman built a great one for his 27. You can take a look at it in the Cherubini Album in the links section here at HOW.
