Slap Silencer dimensions?

Does anyone who owns a Slap Silencer know the approximate dimensions? Does it have a slot in it where the rudder post goes? Got a sewing machine and a plan to make one! Just trying to stay within my boating budget! Thanks, Charles Duhon "Artistry"

Need to buy this item?

I've got one and it works great. But the guys/gals that created this put in considerable thought. Have watched my friends try to make some and they miss the point by not having the struts correctly positioned, the right size and strength, etc. Eventually all three purchased ones for their boats. (Notice: only 3 friends <grin>) Think this is one item that you may want to bite the bullet and buy. Jim
