size of a mainsail 34 feet,??

sail size

sail makers have listings for all boats you need to know what you have. could be a standard rig or tall rig. call a sail maker and ask for the measurements and then measure the sail or the boat to see which you have. Ed a

Franck;The hunter34 mainsail foot ,E, is 11ft 9in(3.58m). The mainsail luff, P, is41ft 0in (12.49m). For mast bend, the desired bend is 1% of the mast height above the boom(.01 x mast height above the boom). On a 50 ft mast, this would be .5 ft at the mid point of the mast. The mast height of the H34 above the deck is 46ft 3 in(14.09m). This information is from the Hunter 34 specifications booklet that came with the H34. Hope this helps. Mac

Skipper;I bought a 1984 H31 new in 1984 and the manual that came with it has the specs for the H31,H34, and H37. It also has instructions on tuning the B&R rigging and the standard rigging on pre B&R rigs. If I had a scanner I could put all of this on this site. I can always photo copy the manual and mail the photo copies to someone with a scanner so that they can.Mac 1984 H31 "Kitkatla"
