Singlehanding download

I hesitate to write this. I left the room . . . but then came back. With Brian watching the snow and Jack, with the boat in storage, do I dare say that I had an absolutely stunning sail today? Peter, thanks for suggesting the download on singlehanding. His explanations are clear. Things just clicked today. I don't recall ever watching the tiller just float in the center of the foot well with out a touch, no shock cord, nothing. I went below and played with the GPS, in the cockpit the tiller was just floating, barely a movement, and she just held her course.

Maybe everyone has done this. I've read about sail twist and balance but I guess I never got it right. This was very cool.

I'm anxious to try his other suggestions, and I hope he gets his new sails.
