Can one rig this boat single handedly, including raising the mast? Is there hardware that enables one to do so?

several ways

You will need a mast up system to hold the mast once attached to the Tabernacle. You can buy or make it, most extend to several heights. Once you have this, (if you have no problem with your back) you stand on the cabin top facing aft grab the mast then walk it up. (this is how most racers do it). Or you can use a gin pole, 6' of aluminum tubing 1 3/4" - 2" (1 1/4"X 6' galvanize fence tubing will work too) you will need a strap welded to one end to attach around the mast a 1/4" bolt to hold it in place an eye bolt in the other end to attach the Main sheet or Vang. Attach the jib halyard to the eye with the main sheet/vang the other end to the stem fitting, then pull it up. Dropping is reverse. Mast up can be bought at C/D or check out the link for another. Most make their own. Good Luck.
