I have a 1985 31' O'day Sloop. My Signet MK 254 wind instrument was destroyed when my neighbors mast hit the top of my mast from a large wave. The wire is tied off and I'm looking for a replacement MK 254 or something compatable.

It sounds as if it is the masthead unit that was damaged. Signet Marine still sells them for $675 new www.Signetmarine.com; ask for Brian. I sold three recently on ebay, but only have one left that I need to keep for testing purposes. If it is the instrument head you need, I currently have a new one listed on ebay. Good Luck!
