Signet Knotlog problem

I'm having fun this early summer shaking down and getting used to my new-to-me C27. My Signet Knotlog, which I have just now got around to looking at, isn't displaying anything that makes sense ... like 25.XX, up to 35 or 36. Wasn't recording distance, cause it would go up and down with the right relativity to velocity. Couldn't be knots or mph with the decimal point wrong cause I know I was going faster than that. Nothing changes when I press the log/reset button. Any ideas, or should I just pull it and send it in? Tom Monroe Carlyle Lake

I would check

your transducer. Pull it out (make sure the plug is handy!) clean it throughly and see if that makes a difference.

Tom, sometimes turning the instrument off

and on at the breaker will get it to obey the reset command. If pulling your transducer solves the knot meter problem, that will be new one to me. Scott
