Here is a good tip I learned last season. To rid your boat of spiders & bugs place flea & tick collars on 3 of the stantions on the dock side of your boat. In severe cases use 3 stantions on both sides of the boat. Just the one side works great for me. You'll know when to replace them (about 6 weeks) when you see spider webs on the opposite side of the boat. They seem to keep the "lunch meat" for the spiders off the boat also.
