I was at the boat yesterday and measure with a caliper the size of the side stay on my O'Day 23. I wrote that they were 5/16 but now I'm not sure I've read the caliper properly (not mine borrowed from a friend). Does that make sense? Any 23 ownwers out there that know the size? Tx Yves

Sevy...I have a '73 O23 and even though I don't know that actual size, there is no way it is 5/16ths. That is almost the size of my hylards. I would say at the "most", would be 3/16ths. Give Rudy a call...sure he can help.

I replaced all the standing rigging on my Oday 23 a few years ago, and I wrote down the size I used as "5/32", which is clearly incorrect. I'm pretty sure I meant to write 5/16. You can check with Rudy at D&R Marine; I bought my rigging from him, and he had the correct sizes written down in a book.

I got the 5 correct but it is 5/32. On Drmarine site, the replacement stays are 5/32. I got the scale of caliper wrong. Tx for your help
