Has anyone moved the chainplates inboard on their boats to accomodate an overlaping genoa? I'm wondering if Catalina needed to make any structural changes, other than chainplate reinforcemt, when they did the re-design in 2018.

We just aquired a 2018, hull # 41. Wasn't aware of a redesign. We have primary winches in the cockpit but will lead the sheets for the 109 genoa to our cabin top winches for our maiden voyage home.
