I am looking for any specs.,on what tension should be applied to my shrouds and backstays on my hunter 31 1986 shoal draft model. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I recently replaced the standing rigging and what I did was what I read on the tuning the rigging chapter on the owners manual, if you dont have the manual( like me ) you can check that information on this address; www.scottssweaters.com/rubicon/manual/manual.htm there is not too much but it is something that can help.
My paperwork that came with the boat had a sheet of stay tensions from when the factory set it up. I use a stay tensioner that I got from West Marine to keep everything tuned. If you don't make any progress email me at scottbe@aol.com and I will fax you a copy of the sheet that came with my boat.
