I have an Oday 19 made in 1980. The port and starboard shroud anchors both look like they could use some reinforcing. The port side especially needs to have some serious maintenance. I am not sure of the best way to do it. I have been told to use a dremmel tool and cut the fiberglass and wood out underneath the deck and replace the plywood and re-fiberglass the area that was replaced. Has any one ever taken on a similar project? It looks like a piece of stainless steel would also be a good reinforcement for that area. I bought the boat last fall and took it out on some pretty gentle winds because I was afraid that a strong starboard tack woud pull the cleat through the deck.
