Shrink Wrap or not to shrink wrap?

Winter is approaching and the sailing season is soon coming to an end. Next month, I will be winterizing our boat. Since this is our first boat that can't be kept in a garage :) I am wondering the value of shrink wrapping the boat. Is snow still an issue building up on the boat? What do you northern folks do in winter? Any problems when you shrink wrap? The boat's going to be up in Lake Superior so it get's cold! Thanks!

Shrink It!

Water flows into cracks then freezes. Over time the cracks get bigger and eventually you will have a repair to do. Always cover the boat. I might suggest that you invest in a good quality cover with a frame. Over the long term that is your best and most cost effective option. Regards
