Hello all.
so typically I buy new pumps when one fails figuring the pump is 15+ years and paid for itself. This time I figured I would rebuild. Have 2 shower pumps jabsco that the valves completely deformed. Simple. Comes apart and replace parts. However when I put back together have a fantastic leak between the motors and body of the pump……no o-ring between the two only the diaphragm. Positioned in place and tightened everything up. Easy enough. Turn pump on and water sprays all over. Thought I over tightened so backed off screws and still spewing water. What am I missing please. I know it’s human error and figure the diaphragm is not seated properly but would love some input.
Wife and I have to take a transom shower tonight…..
thanks!
