On my 2005 Catalina $00 the aft shower does not fully pump out the water that remains in the recessed water colletion area. There is always about 20 ounces of water left. Any ideas besides drilling a hole in the liner to release the water into the bilge?

Make sure your check valve is operating properly. sometimes hair gets into it and clogs it so it doesn't stop the backflow Bill mentioned. The old flat black Shurflo check valves that Catalina used (at least on my boat) may not be available anymore. I replaced mine with a 3/4" Raritan RV1.
