shower nozzle doesn't work

Our sink faucet works find but when switched to shower setting water barely trickles out. Same with cockpit shower.

Removing the nozzle to observe flow rate should tell you what the problem is.

It flows great. I didn't see anything clogging or blocking water flow.

Is the valve opening all the way between the faucet and hose to the shower head?

When I redid my Head, I switched to a combined fixture so my faucet and shower head are one in the same.

There may be bits of particulate in your shower head orifices. Try removing and soaking in CLR

Mine is also one piece. You pull the faucet and with a long hose connecting it can be placed up on the wall as a shower. There is a button you push to switch between regular and shower (at least I think that's how it's supposed to work) It's the same for cockpit shower and they are different. I will try the CLR. Good idea.
I don't mind buy a new one but can't find one that fits.

Try removing and soaking in CLR

+1. I do not know if that will solve your problem but it did solve a reduced flow problem in my sink/shower.

The button is the shut off so you can soap up. Try pulling on the plastic parts where the water exits the head. Mine has a push pull ring that changes the spray pattern and a button to stop the flow.
