Has anybody replaced Grohe shower behind head?
Very hard to reach underside of faucets behind head. Not sure what tool required for removal. Photo shows from underside. Anybody know how to remove this?
Also, where can I get a drop in replacement?
Thanks in advance for any help
Mike

Hi Peter:

That wrench JK pictured is really great. Got one and used it so many times.

Another source is ........ a long tube socket I got from IKEA. It is about 12" long. I asked a guy in one of the stores if they had one so I could reinstall my sink. I've found a few other uses also. Food for thought.

Cheers :D

I have s faucet wrench but unfortunately as you might be able to see in the photo, there is no nut holding it up. It appears they must have glued it up there somehow. I will remove the head to get better access and try to pry it off.

My f-i-l has a "holder" below his kitchen sink that looked like that. You don't need a faucet wrench, just an adjustable open end or the correct open end wrench. There should be a nut you simply loosen below the gold Y or U shaped piece.

Good luck, that was new to me, too.
