We have a 42 Passage with the V berth. Forward head is to starboard. I want to change out the hose for the shower but can't figure out how to access the valves, etc. The entire shower seems to be molded glass with no access to the underside of the shower controls. Anybody have an idea on how to reach the underside of the valves?

Hey Don, I seem to remember a few years ago that someone was told by Hunter that the only way to access that particular animal was to cut an access hole below the faucet and when done, cover hole with piece of marine board, cut to fit. I would get a 3 inch hole saw myself and make it easy. Anyway hope that helps you, I haven't had to work on mine yet, but have kept that little tidbit in the memory drawer for later use myself. P42 shower access?
There may be access behind the shower from the salon cabinetry. The starboard forward upper locker has a removable section on the forward side of that opening cabinet. I get into it by removing the cabinet door, then the corner piece or molding, then unscrewing the forward side of the cabinet.
I'm not sure if it gets you access to the shower fixtures or not, but I use this access to get to the forward toilet solenoid when it requires replacement. I can see this access also makes it possible to get to the deck fills, and you can see the lower hose runs as well. It's worth a try, but it is a small and difficult opening to work through.
