Shower in a 26

I am looking to put a pressurized water system and shower in the boat. Curious how and if one can be placed in the head, where to by a pan and sump?

I have a 1999 H260 and have been thinking about putting a pressurized wash down outlet either at the stern swim platform or in the anchor locker. The former would be for convenience when swimming, the latter for convenience in installation. A 30 foot hose would provide the ability to rinse the boat off at the mooring after sailing. Anyone have suggestions for this?I try to keep moisture out of the boat and wouldn't want to introduce more with a shower in the head. My preference would be a sun shower used on deck -- although you could leave the shower on deck and feed the nozzle below, I suppose. Check Boat US, West Marine and similar catalogs for the pans and pumps to do a head drain installation.My 2 cents...Tom

It is very difficult to put a floor drain in the head of a water ballasted 260 and forget the older 26. Only in the 270 wing keel version that this can be done as it has a bilge area for the water to drain into and then be pumped out.Crazy dave condon
