Shower turn-on
On my boat, there is a valve built into the base of the hose right where it attaches to the sink. Try pulling upwards firmly on the plastic part that comes out of the center of the taps. It snaps up to turn the water on, and pushes back down to turn it off. The little dial on the shower head is redundant.
