Our 25 year old Time and Tide clock stopped working. I boxed it up and sent it off to Weems & Plath in Annapolis Md. Three days later I got an email saying they had received it and would evaluate the problem. The next day I got another email saying it had been repaired and shipped back with no charge as it has a lifetime warranty. They replaced the entire movement.
As most products today have tail light warranties, this certainly is an exception.

We got a "new" W&P ship's bell clock on the main bulkhead when we bought Arcadia several years ago. A corroded battery had trashed its innards, so I called W&P to see about getting it fixed. They suggested they could offer us about $30 credit towards the purchase of a new clock if we sent it to them. We were not impressed.

We’ve had very good service from them on the time/tide clocks as well. Unfortunately we’ve had to use it more than I’d like. Ours broke once and they replaced the movement on the spot when we visited them during the Annapolis boat show. The movement failed again and they replaced it a second time. Hopefully you get another 25 years of service from your replacement.
