should there be water coming in the boat?

I agree, we need more info. We had a nuisance leak on our 83 20 that turned out to be from where the keel rubbed through the gel coat in the keel slot on the bottom of the boat. The trailer was set up wrong in that the boat was sitting on the keel and the bunk boards were just stabilizing it. I raised the bunks so the boat was not sitting all its weight on the keel making sure there was an air gap between the boat and keel now, after I fixed the hole in the bottom.
But it could be anything from a hole like we had to keel bolts leaking, to a Crack in the keel trunk to the threads on the keel lock shaft. Post more info and we try to help u out.

Not sure I'd describe ANY water coming in from below the waterline in my boat as a 'nuisance leak'! ;^)

I was at a loss for a better way to describe it. Since we kept it on the trailer last year it was not on the water to leak enough to cause any more of a problem than tick me off as it was supposed to be a dry boat. I was able to fix all the other leaks but I wasn't able to fix the keel leak till I got it off the trailer and the keel removed.
Glad to say she is dry as a desert inside now.
