Shore Water Hook Up

I am considering installing a shore water hook up on my Hunter 33.5 to have access to a more continual supply of water when at a marina. I was looking at the shruflo unit which seems to have a regulator built in to reduce city water pressure to "boat-like" pressure. I realize that the use of such a device needs to be closely monitored and cannot be left on its own. I would appreciate other people's thoughts on the pros and cons of such a unit and any installation tips if I ultimately decide to do this. Thanks

That’s the reassure reducer I put on our last boat which served well for 10 years. Can’t recall how I installed it but some 4200 was involved.

My Hunter 46 came with a shore water connection. Really love the convenience of pressurized shore water. To enable quick connection / disconnection I installed brass quick disconnects at each end. This allows quick removal when we leave the boat for any period of time or leave the dock to sail.
