After ten years of owning my Hunter 36 you would think I'd have this figured out by now. But come time to pull the boat from the water each winter, I am always perplexed how to position the boat on the cradle. If I position it far enough forward so it fits snugly into that forward curved arch support at the FRONT of the cradle, then it seems a little too far forward and the aft cradle supports don't seem to align with the boat's bulkheads and there is too much 'give' in the hull then. If I bring it back, it seems a little 'ass heavy' on the cradle. Does anyone have a tried and true set of tips on how and where to EXACTLY position the boat on the cradle. Thank you.
