That d be great if you could find his name. I’ll do some research with Holly and NickThere's a guy here in Martin County who moves sailboats. I'll post his info when I find him.
It won't be cheap whoever you use. And that's just the transport. The boat has to be prepared to move and then re-rigged upon arrival. You must love that boat!
I started to do that but none return my call. I guess I’ll have to pretend I want to buy one their boat but need it shipped!Ask a local broker for a recommendation. Brokerages ship boats all the time.
Try going in person and strike up a conversation with the broker. Also if you are buying a boat from a brokerage they should be willing to make recommendations.I started to do that but none return my call. I guess I’ll have to pretend I want to buy one their boat but need it shipped!
Thx!

This will not be cheap. 13 years ago I had a boat trucked about 50 miles and it cost $600 for the trucking not counting the loading fee and unloading fee or prep work.
Yikes! that's $100 a mile!All Boat Movers

These guys moved my boat from the auction lot to a local marina with a travel lift. I rode with the driver who told me about all of the hauls he does all over the U.S. The boat had to be under 14ft high which made me cut down the radar pole on the stern, Cost was about $4500. Distance was about 50 miles.
It may be cheaper to hire a delivery captain to do the trip.
