shifter cable length for h260

I have a 98 h260 , with edson pedistal wheel steering to a honda 9.9 out board . I need to know the length of the SHIFTER CABLE it broke just below the brass fitting to the black shift leaver on the port side of the pedistal. Edson was great but did not have the length , Hunter was no help ! tks ( com coop ) tlcooper@.com

11 foot 3300 series cable will do fin sir., ONe little trick. Get a small tube to run the cable thru the bottom hole of the pedestal base and when it is thru, take a crow bar using the curved portion to fish it toward you. Make sure you take off the rubber fittings first as it will need to be done going thru the tube or smalll pipe. Installed quite a few and showed Hunter my little trick with the engine.
