Greetings, great day on the boat except my transmission lever pedestal quadrant finally failed (original Yacht Specialities part on a 1980 Hunter 27). I have been searching practically everywhere and sporadically see mentions of places to get these cast or replaced. It is a 7" piece with holes for mounting screws, throttle and shift lever. I just had the steering cable replaced or I would look at something new...nothing wrong with this one except the broken part. Apparently it happened before as the PO did some "creative" work on the throttle side. I will include a picture.

Thanks for any information!

from the looks of that pic you may be able to find a machine/welding shop that can build it back up and the mill it back the almost original ...do you have the broken of part ....if so carry that along with the other parts and get a estimate you may be suprised.....if that doesnt work for you then start hunting the used marine stores....and ebay as well......

Howard, there was a post on the site some time back that the part was available through Constance Machine works in Evrett, Washington, 425-347-8920. I got a new casting from them several years back and I don't know if they are still handling the aluminum casting.. Good Luck..
